We exchange your Credit Information with CRBs to verify your identity, assess your creditworthiness, and process your finance application. You can request access to the Credit Information we hold about you and ask for any necessary corrections to be made. We explain how to do this below.

Unsolicited Information

Occasionally, people share information (including Sensitive Information) with us that we have not specifically requested. This may happen when using our website or applying for a product. If we receive such information, we will determine whether we are permitted to collect it. If so, we will treat it the same as any other Personal Information we collect. As your broker, we need the information we collect from you to assess your credit application, source a suitable credit provider, and manage the application process. If you do not provide the requested information, we may be unable to process your application or offer other services.

CRB Disclosures

When we collect information from you during the credit application process, we use that information in several ways to assess your credit application and source a suitable credit provider, lessor, and/or insurance provider.

Disclose your identification information to a CRB and, in some cases, obtain a credit report; Use any information the CRB provides in that report to assist us in preliminarily assessing your consumer credit application; and Disclose your credit information to a credit provider or providers to apply for finance on your behalf.

The information we obtain from you is used for the purposes outlined in this Consent, and is not disclosed to any other person except with your permission or as permitted, or required, by law.

Credit Providers

As part of providing our services to you, we may undertake tasks for a credit provider that are reasonably necessary to manage the application process. When doing so, we are acting as an agent for the credit provider.

Credit Report and Disclosure Consent

When you apply for credit through us, we may use your information in several ways:

Credit Assessment: We may send your details to a Credit Reporting Body (CRB) and use the information provided to evaluate your credit application. Disclosure to Credit Providers: Your information may be shared with credit providers or insurers to help us find the best financial options for you.

Credit Providers and CRBs
